finding zen

i don't consider myself totally obsessive compulsive but i am particular about dirt and clutter. some people like to de-stress with various coping mechanisms, but i find zen by cleaning.

i've been in a funk lately and i think it might have to do with the fact that i haven't found zen at home lately. in combination of having parties, a dog, and normal daily wear and tear, our carpets in the common area of the house have gotten noticeably dirty, i procrastinated on making the decision of renting, buying, or hiring someone to clean the carpets for weeks and finally decided to buy a  Hoover SteamVac Carpet Washer with Clean Surge. - AMAZING PURCHASE!

not only did i shampoo my carpets, i also groomed my dog. at around 9:30pm last night i was totally exhausted but found zen.
